Sara Nooft
Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern
Sara loves coming alongside her clients as they rediscover hope, freedom, play, and belonging. She believes that safety, support, and agency form the foundation for meaningful growth and lasting change.
Drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches, Sara offers highly relational, trauma-informed, and somatic-focused care. She works with women, men, and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, Complex PTSD, ministry burnout, partner infidelity and addiction, and patterns of codependency.
Sara earned her Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts from New College Franklin and her Master’s in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. Her background includes years in international missions and church ministry, along with training in trauma-informed practices such as Internal Family Systems and embodied modalities like yoga.
Creativity and play are central to Sara’s life and work. She finds joy in dance, music, and yoga—and in slow evenings spent cooking with her husband or relaxing with their dog, Max.
